1. How long does it take to seal a driveway? When can I drive on it?
It depends on the size of the driveway. An average size job takes us about 1 1/2 hours. You can drive on it 24 hours after the last application.
2. Do you use a spray system to seal driveways and lots?
Yes. There are many benefits to using a pressurized spray application. We reccomend this to achieve a quick, clean and even coverage of sealcoat.
3. How many coats do you apply?
Our standard is one coat. But we are happy to apply two coats at an additional cost.
4. Aren’t all sealcoat products the same?
No. TSS Services has chosen a premier manufacturer. You can buy sealcoat locally but it will not last.
5. Why does the sealcoat product you use contain sand?
Sand is used for traction, skid resistance and also to provide a uniform texture to the surface. Sealcoating with sand wear longer and are much safer to walk and drive on.
6. How much does it cost to seal a driveway?
It depends on the size and layout of your driveway. It can cost between $130-350 on average.
7. I got a cheaper quote from another sealcoat company, why are you more expensive?
Not all sealcoat is created equal. We use a premier manufacturer. We are serious about our product and our services. If the price is the only factor TSS Services may not be for you. We spend more time preparing the surface and cracks and we stand behind our product as well as workmanship.

- For a new driveway sealed within 6 months to a year from installation, you can get 2 to 3 years of protection from your first application.
- If you have an older driveway and have had subsequent applications you can get between 2 to 3 years of protection.
- If you have an older driveway and have not had subsequent applications you can expect 1 year of protection from the first application.
